# Image Studio

Create images of any companion from your own prompt in the Generation Studio.

The Generation Studio lets you create images of a companion without chatting: pick her, describe the scene and generate.

<figure><img src="https://3241726214-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2F4n1TpoCYYjn6dKz1BFeO%2Fuploads%2Fgit-blob-911c42383612f9334994b50aaeb08b5b554f9595%2Fimage-studio.jpg?alt=media" alt="Generation Studio controls: doll, prompt and number of images"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

## Create an image

{% stepper %}
{% step %}

### Open the Studio

Click **Generate** in the sidebar. You can look around without an account; you need one to generate.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Select a doll

Click **Select a doll** and choose any public companion or one of your own. Her look decides the style: a realistic doll gets realistic images, an anime doll gets anime.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Describe what you want to see

Write your prompt, or build one with the **Outfit**, **Action** and **Scene** pickers. Stuck for ideas? **Shuffle prompt** fills in an example.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Choose how many and generate

Make **1, 2 or 4** images at once. Each image costs **2 tokens**, charged when you click generate.
{% endstep %}
{% endstepper %}

## Your images

New images appear in the Studio as they finish, and every image you make is kept in **My gallery** (the **Gallery** tab). Open an image's menu for:

| Option                      | What it does                                                                                          |
| --------------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Download Image** | Saves the image to your device. |
| **Generate clip**           | Animates it into a 5-second [video clip](/help/create/video-clips.md).                                |
| **Share to profile** | Shows it on your [public profile](/help/get-started/public-profiles.md). Only works for public dolls. |
| **Add to {name}'s gallery** | Adds it to the photo carousel on your own doll's profile. |
| **Report** | Flags it for review. |

## If something goes wrong

* **A generation failed:** the tokens for every failed image are refunded automatically.
* **An image is slow:** it keeps going in the background and appears in your gallery when it's ready.
* **"This request was blocked due to a content violation":** your prompt broke our [content rules](/help/account/content-rules-and-reporting.md). Blocked prompts aren't charged.

<summary>Can I delete an image?</summary>

Not yet. You can remove an image from your public profile with **Remove from profile**.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://dreamdolls.gitbook.io/help/create/image-studio.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
